This wine has been made as a celebration of the first 10 years of Quinta do Portal. It is a selection of the most outstanding and concentrated wine made in the classic 2001 vintage, and less than 250 cases have been produced. It is a blend of 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Tinta Roriz, which has been aged for 14 months in new french oak barriques. Dark and incredibly dense in colour, the wine has ripe cassis on the nose, massive ripe tannins, and huge fruit concentration. The finish has remarkable length and persistence.
