The 1999 was produced in our traditional lagares and also in stainless steel tanks. The grapes used in the production of the 1999 were picked on the 16th and 17th September and also on the 23rd and 24th September. The wine has a dense and vibrant red colour and the aroma is reminiscent of cane-sugar and rum from the Caribbean islands. In the mouth it's soft and buttery with flavours of dark cherries and plums. The finish is fresh and leaves a taste of very ripe dark grape skins. |
